Disney plus Universal
Often the clearest starting point for a 10-14 night family holiday, without automatically adding every other park.
Compare Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Parks and Discovery Cove by the parks you will actually visit. The aim is a suitable ticket plan, not simply the largest bundle.
Most families can narrow the choice quickly. Use these as starting points, then compare the exact parks, validity and total family price.

Parking, dining and extra-park admission vary. A Discovery Cove package can sometimes replace a separate SeaWorld ticket.

These park groups use different ticket structures. Compare them separately before deciding whether a combined package saves money.
UK Magic Tickets commonly cover Disney's four theme parks, Park Hopper and water-park admission subject to availability. Memory Maker is currently included with adult Magic Tickets. Separately ticketed events cost extra.
Compare Disney tickets →The current UK Three Park Adventure Ticket covers Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Epic Universe. The All Parks Ticket also includes Volcano Bay. Both are sold as 14-day products.
Compare Universal tickets →Single-visit, multi-visit and longer-duration products can cover SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens. Dining and parking are product-specific, so check the named inclusions rather than assuming.
Compare SeaWorld tickets →Discovery Cove is not automatically included with a standard SeaWorld ticket. Choose a dated Day Resort or Dolphin Swim package, then decide whether the two-park or three-park version fits the rest of your itinerary.

|---|---|---|
| Often suits | First visits, younger children, characters, shows and a wider mix of gentle and thrill attractions | Teenagers, thrill-seekers, Harry Potter, Nintendo and families wanting a more compact park plan |
| Typical time allocation | Several days spread across a longer holiday | Usually fewer days, although four-park visits need more time |

| Planning watch-out | Confirm ticket start date, validity, water-park operation and separately priced extras | Confirm named parks, Volcano Bay operation and whether Park-to-Park access is included |

Quick verdict: Disney is often the stronger starting point for younger families and the classic first Orlando holiday. Universal often suits older children and thrill-led trips. Many UK families choose both, but that does not mean every family needs the largest all-park bundle.

There is no single best ticket. Start with the parks your family will visit, then compare visit limits, validity and the total family price. Disney plus Universal is a common first-trip route, but a smaller plan can offer better value if you want more rest days.
Yes. UK sellers offer combination packages, but these normally contain separate admission products with their own rules. Compare the package with buying the same components separately and check the validity of every ticket.
Current UK 7-day and 14-day Magic Tickets cover Disney's four theme parks, Park Hopper and water-park admission subject to operation. Memory Maker is included with adult Magic Tickets. Separately ticketed events and Lightning Lane products cost extra.
Date-based Disney tickets do not currently require theme park reservations. Selecting a ticket start date is different from reserving an individual park. Check your admission type because other ticket categories can have different rules.
The current UK Three Park Adventure and All Parks Tickets include Epic Universe. The Hogwarts Express requires Park-to-Park admission covering Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. Always check the named parks and access type on the product you buy.
Volcano Bay is included in Universal's current All Parks Ticket but not the current Three Park Adventure Ticket. It is scheduled for maintenance from 26 October 2026, with reopening planned on or before 1 April 2027. Check Universal's latest calendar because dates can change.
Not with standard admission. These are separately priced queue products. A Universal hotel or holiday package may advertise an Express benefit, but you should check the parks, guests and dates it covers before buying another pass.
Only selected products include these benefits. The Ultimate and multi-visit options can have different parking and dining terms, so use the exact product page rather than assuming every SeaWorld combination is the same.
Not automatically. Discovery Cove is a dated Day Resort or Dolphin Swim booking. Some Discovery Cove packages add SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens admission, which can reduce the need for a separate SeaWorld-group ticket.
Rules depend on the seller and the exact ticket. Some admission products are non-refundable or non-transferable, while a retailer may sell an optional flexibility policy. Check cancellation deadlines, change fees and the responsible seller before paying.
